“We have a really exciting week or so coming up for our staff, players and fans. Toyota Field will host the Fort Lauderdale Strikers on Saturday the 18th in the usual NASL Competition, while on the following Tuesday, Toyota Field will host its first ever US Open Cup match.
We get to find out whom we will face in the Cup this Tuesday. FC Tucson and Phoenix FC will play each other in the first round to see who gets to come to the Alamo City to face us on our home turf. No matter who wins that match, this is a game we are taking very seriously on every level. The US Open Cup is a national tournament and making a long cup run is something we are all focused on doing this season. The atmosphere for this match on the 21st is going to be great, and we would really appreciate your support at Toyota Field that night.
This upcoming Saturday is a chance to earn a win in front of our home crowd against the Strikers. We are expecting another great atmosphere in the match, like we had during the first two games at our new home. We have our inaugural Boy Scout Scorp-Oree following the match that we are excited to put on for the Scout community.

The US Open Cup tickets are also on sale so get those quickly as well. Remember, if you are a season ticket holder, you will already have a ticket to the Cup match against either Tucson or Phoenix.”
